This string trio program weaves together tales of artists who have ventured far and wide to create something extraordinary, alongside e132 members’ own personal travel anecdotes. Highlights include a Baroque icon risking his career to walk across Germany and hear his idol perform, a French naval officer charting the globe, and a Hungarian composer- ethnomusicologist exploring rural lands to preserve their melodies. Featuring the versatile and often overlooked instrumentation of three strings—perfect for taking on the road—we’ve had the pleasure of presenting this adventurous program across the country!
